SUPPORTERS DIRECT: Forest Green make £2.5m losses chasing EFL dream

Forest Green Rovers made a loss of nearly £2.5 million as they pursued promotion to the EFL, the club’s accounts have revealed.
The losses of £2,469,374 – to April 2016 – are down on the previous year but overall losses are in excess of £5.3million.
The club, managed by former Swindon boss Mark Cooper, are currently third in the National League.
