VIEW FROM THE TOWN END: It’s time to stand up and support the team

The next two games heralds a defining moment for what is left of this disappointing season so far. Victory in both games is paramount and the team need our encouragement and SUPPORT.

I agree it’s frustrating to see our team lose but last Saturday we were unfortunate not to come away with something. Two of the loanees from Chelsea are class players… the other needs a bit more fitness in my opinion.

So two derby games to get behind the team, give our support and be the 12th man. I do not agree with booing the team as it serves no purpose.

They know when they are playing crap and booing just rubs salt in the wounds. When they try and they are giving 100 per cent and it’s still not working (yes, there are teams in the league that are better than us) we as fans must surely shout a bit louder, clap a bit longer and pump the boys up.

For the next two games and for the rest of the season get behind the team, be positive, stand up and be counted as one of those that supported the team.

I’m Swindon ’til I die.
