OWNERSHIP COURT CASE: A statement from the Board of TrustSTFC

0

Members of our Board will be back in attendance at Court on Monday 17th May for the latest hearing in the ownership case of Swindon Town FC.

During the last hearing, a range of orders were put in place for all parties to adhere to.

We’re hopeful that tomorrow will provide further clarity on what happens next with regards to the long-term future of our Club.

Alongside our Board members, we believe members of the local media will also be in attendance to provide coverage once the hearing has concluded.

We would appreciate supporters taking note of our request to not attend the hearing. During a Court session in February for the case, the hearing was interrupted.

Judge Thompsell has previously made it clear that should any decisions on direction need to be taken by the Courts, the behaviour of all parties throughout the process would be taken into consideration. And we believe this extends to the fans too.

Interruptions, noise, or interference of any kind from members of the public could lead to a deferral of proceedings, which is not in anyone’s interest. Disruption could also be considered contempt of Court, and any person doing so would be liable to prosecution.

Our social media and communication channels will be quiet tomorrow. However, once the case has concluded, we will update fans immediately.

Board members attending the hearing will also be appearing on the STFC Supporters Club’s ‘Monday Night Panel’ from 7pm, via their Facebook page.
